OMNIC DS Software
OMNIC DS software provides maximum security and data integrity assurance for the varying analytical needs of the laboratory. Because this package can be configured on a per user basis, on one system, or across an enterprise - it ensures compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.

At the center of OMNIC DS data security and integrity software is the Thermo Scientific Security Administration Server, which gives the system administrator control over software access, policies, and digital signature meanings in an intuitive interface. This server can be run stand-alone on your spectrometer workstation, or as a server application to administer OMNIC software on one or all of the systems in your facility.  When added to OMNIC software the DS option provides 21 CFR Part 11 compliance tools with digital signatures and audit trails.

OMNIC DS software logs changes to files associated with the software, even when OMNIC software itself is not running. This is because system use and file event logging is output in a custom Thermo log within the Microsoft® Event Viewer. This comprehensive activity tracking and logging ensures the ability to create detailed audit trails for Nicolet FT-IR and Nicolet Raman spectrometers, and the data they generate.
