The stainless steel chamber is equipped with glove ports, and connects to an oversized interchange. Strict anaerobiosis is maintained with anaerobic grade gas and nitrogen, acting together with a catalyst/desiccant wafer system that bonds and removes trace oxygen.

Thermo's anaerobic chamber is a complete anaerobic system, providing all of the components needed to safely inoculate, incubate, examine, and subculture even the most fastidious organisms. The stainless steel chamber is equipped with glove ports, and connects to an oversized interchange. At the push of a button, an auto-sequence 6 stage cycle control will purge the interchange, allowing rapid transfer of materials to and from the chamber. Strict anaerobiosis is maintained with anaerobic grade gas and nitrogen, acting together with a catalyst/desiccant wafer system that bonds and removes trace oxygen. The work area also includes a built-in air-jacket incubator, electrical outlets, and adjustable shelves.
