PRISM Modular TSE 36 HC Twin Screw Compounder
PRISM Modular TSE 36 HC twin-screw extruders are designed to meet your research, development or small production needs, from 50 to 200 kg/hr. Easy configuration changes and easy cleaning means faster results. A rugged touch screen with microprocessor control enables easy operation and full data acquisition. A full line of ancillary equipment lets you customize for your laboratory, pilot plant, or production scale operations.
Thermo Scientific PRISM 36mm HC Modular twin screw extruder with a process length of 28:1 L/D for manufacture of thermoplastic compounds and masterbatch at rates up to 200kg./hr. complete with: 
  • AC Flux Vector variable speed drive system, 22 kW @ 500 rpm screw speed
  • Modular barrel with 4:1 L/D sections, split horizontally for easy access
  • Barrel layout to suit, including 1 off side feed and 3 off top port block
  • Multiple electric heat/water cool 4:1 L/D temperature controlled zones up to 400°C, with self contained barrel cooling unit
  • Set of shafts configured with a suitable agitator configuration
  • Two atmospheric vent adaptors for barrel top ports,
  • Pressure measurement system upstream of die (0-00 bar)
  • Multi-hole stand die (two die plates, size to suit, e.g. 8 x 3mm)
  • Extruder workbench strand incorporating main electrical panel,
  • PLC control with recipe storage and data acquisition system, via Touch Screen operating interface in control station with on screen data logging and help screens.
