BDS1000 Programmable High Pressure Blowdown System
The BDS1000 is designed to clean out pitot averaging flow meters with heavy particulate loading with a "high pressure purge blast"• User programmable purge frequency and duration• "Purge Blast" through pitot array while maintaining last output of DP Transmitter• Alternate cycles "purge blast" from the HIGH and LOW side for maximum effect
The BDS1000 Programmable High Pressure Blowdown System is designed to clean out pitot averaging flow meters with heavy particulate loading with a "high pressure purge blast". The BDS1000 Series isolates the DP Transmitter from the purge and holds the last signal output from the DP Transmitter to insure process continuity.

The BDS1000 Series contains an integral Programmable Miniature Controller and provides the end user the capability to control (or change) the sequence of events to match the unique needs of the process. No external signal is required.

  • User programmable purge frequency and duration.
  • High pressure "Purge Blast" through pitot array while maintaining last output of DP Transmitter.
  • Can be used in conjunction with all Thermo Brandt DP and Multivariable Transmitters or any other electronic transmitter.
  • Alternately cycles the "purge blast" from the HIGH to the LOW sides of the process array to maximize the effect.
Air Requirement: :Plant air 80 to 120 PSIG
Electrical Power: :120 Volts AC.
Operating Temperature: :32 to 120 degree F (0-50 deg. C).
Line Size: :Supply Pressure 1/2" Tube.
Programmable Miniature Controller: :Battery backed up to 512K bytes. LCD Screen and keypad.
