Plant operators, especially in hydrocarbon and chemical process industries require an interface level measurement system that lasts in hazardous, outdoor environments without extensive maintenance.  Many level systems have been used to measure process variables, including mechanical probes which are in contact with the process, contacting gamma systems, and non-contacting gamma systems.  Too often, however, environmental and process-induced factors have reduced the reliability and shortened the life of these types of level measurements.  The KRIL answers this demand for a rugged, reliable, non-contacting level/interface system.  The KRIL is built for long life.
