TCAutomation uses single sample tube carriers allowing the use of different tube types and sizes from major tube manufactures. Each carrier has an embedded microchip for storing the route information. The chip information is used during the whole process. The data transfer is fast and secure and takes place in every module.

Economical solution to time-consuming laboratory tasks

Samples are transported within the automation system in a Multitube Carrier, which includes an embedded microchip (RF-tag). This chip enables faster and more reliable readings as well as excellent real-time sample tracking possibilities. The barcode information together with the route of the sample and tube type is written into the chip in the entry modules. After the sample has been removed from the carrier in the exit module, the chip memory is erased. The carrier is designed in such a way that all generally used sample tubes fit in it.

The use of the Radio Frequency Identification Technology means less barcode readings, fewer errors and easy sample tracking.
