The Entry Module is used for manual sample entry. Samples are placed one by one to Multitube carriers. The barcode is read, and the route together with sample ID and tube type is written into the memory of the Multitube carrier. The Exit Module is used for manual sample exit. When the sample is arriving to the Exit module, the tube information and the chip information are cross-checked. If information matches, the tube is taken into the Exit module, and the chip memory is erased. Otherwise the tube must be checked. 

The use of the Radio Frequency Identification Technology means less barcode readings, fewer errors and easy sample tracking.
