QuickCalc Software
Thermo Scientific QuickCalc software powered by Gubbs Inc GMSU (Gubbs Mass Spec Utilities) reduces the time required to evaluate new compounds for drug development.
QuickCalc software was developed for high-throughput (HT)-ADME studies that involve data processing of thousands of samples per week. The software enables researchers focusing on in vitro studies to process and review large quantities of data by automatically generating reports and storing the results in a relational database. QuickCalc is a desktop application which typically serves smaller drug discovery labs, bridging the transition towards an enterprise-level data reduction system such as Galileo LIMS™.

QuickCalc software automates the assessment of data from high-throughput screening by integrating the chromatographic peaks, creating reports and storing the data in a database — turning data into DMPK knowledge.

Three modules enable researchers to accurately and efficiently process the sample data:

  • Hepatic Clearance Calculator for microsomes, hepatocytes, S9
  • Permeability Calculator for CACO-2, PAMPA
  • PK Calculator for toxicokinetic parameters

After processing, QuickCalc software eliminates the need to manually transfer text files to a second data system such as Microsoft? Excel.

QuickCalc, used in conjunction with Thermo Scientific QuickQuan high-throughput screening software, provides an integrated, powerful improvement to data processing and method setup for HT-ADME laboratories. QuickQuan provides the means necessary for rapid, automated development and analysis of LC-MS/MS assays while QuickCalc then converts the vast amounts of raw data into the useful information that ADME scientists need: permeability, stability, T1/2, and so on.

QuickCalc provides automatic processing, recording and final analysis of the individual samples that are analyzed via LC-MS/MS instrumentation. The raw data, as well as the calculated answers, are then stored in a database which enables easy report generation using the reporting tools in QuickCalc.

Optimization and acquisition via QuickQuan, together with the powerful calculations, relational database, and reporting of QuickCalc, make this an ideal combination for workflow in all non-GLP ADME laboratories.
